What a great place. Food was fresh and delicious. Broward's oldest restaurant, and for us, a real find. You won't be disappointed. Reservation suggested.

Fascinating and unique - slanted floors, separate bar and restaurant buildings, marvelous heart of palm salad, good old fashioned service (be nice, get into the groove of the place and you'll get good service), pet the cats while you enjoy your drink and wait for your table and enjoy. Short boat ride is the best way to get there and to get in the mood. Been there several times over the last 20 years - special for kids and out-of-towners as well as for locals. Try it - rustic, not "high class" or "modern" - but REAL "old" Florida. Five stars for good food and great experience.

Our waitress Janie was THEE BEST! Very knowledgeable of the menu, and offered specials that were not listed. She took care of our party of six like a BOSS! The food was great. Atmosphere was cozy. Definitely a must do.
